MyBackyardCalc is a small collection of free material calculators for backyard and home projects — decks, fences, concrete slabs, gravel, mulch, roofs, patio pavers, retaining walls, sod and raised bed soil, plus post hole concrete, topsoil, grass seed, deck and fence stain, sand, deck stairs and fire pit blocks, a precomputed 12 × 16 deck material list and a full roof pitch chart.
Every calculator does one job: you type in your project size, and it gives you the shopping list — the real items, in the pack sizes stores actually sell, with your own local prices and the total cost. The working is shown under every number so you can check the math yourself, and every list can be printed, copied or downloaded. No sign-up, no accounts, and the calculators run entirely in your browser.
The site exists because the existing calculators were either incomplete (boards but no screws), out of date, or simply wrong. If you spot an error, please get in touch — corrections make the tools better for everyone.
